Lesley-Ann Jones

 

Lesley-Ann Jones is a British author and broadcaster.

She honed her craft on Fleet Street, where she worked as a reporter, newspaper columnist and feature writer for more than twenty years. She has also worked extensively in radio and television, appears regularly in music documentaries in the UK, USA and Australia, and is the writer and co-producer of ‘The Last Lennon Interview’, a film about the final encounter between the former Beatle and ex-BBC Radio One presenter Andy Peebles.

 

Recent published works include Bohemian Rhapsody: The Definitive Biography of Freddie Mercury, re-issued in October 2018 to accompany the award-winning Queen feature film of the same name; Hero: David Bowie; Ride a White Swan: The Lives and Death of Marc Bolan;  Who Killed John Lennon and The Stone Age: Sixty Years of the Rolling Stones.   Her books have been translated into more than twenty languages.

 

She is a mother of three and lives in Kent.
