My career in food started when I set up my business Go Free Foods, an award-winning company, producing freefrom cakes and mixes, where I am still Managing Director. I then went on to write my own food blog for HELLO! Magazine.com with a focus on freefrom food, and subsequently started to write my own food blog, Charlotte's Kitchen Diary, making the move to writing about food and recipes more generally.

I am now a food writer, writing cookery books and contributing to magazines and online publications, as well as carrying out regular cookery demonstrations, cookery classes, and running my local Clandestine Cake Club.   I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers, and the Society of Authors and I am currently working on a series of cookbooks for students which will be published by Quercus in 2013.
